Jared Leclair

Jared has worked for some of the most prestigious reining trainers and has been fortunate enough to ride some of the industry’s best horses. In 2003, Jared took a job working for Steve Simon at Quarter Mount Farm (home of Custom Crome, NRHA Million Dollar Sire) in Paxton, MA. After a year of gaining valuable experience, Jared was referred to top reining trainer Tim McQuay, who offered him a job at McQuay Stables in Tioga, TX. As the assistant trainer, Jared continued improving his skills. His accomplishments have made him a known contender. Leclair Performance Horses was established in 2007. Jared says, “he feels privileged to be a part of the reining horse industry and is excited about sharing his knowledge so that others may reach their reining goals.” Patience, consistency, practice and perseverance are the main components to a successful training program. Jared realizes that every horse is unique, and he strives to create a training program to fit their abilities.
